Key to success for the Tigers tonight

is to extend an at bat beyond the 10 minutes of "twilight" before dark. I hear popups are challenging during that window so I don't want to be in the field during that time....

I have watched a ton of baseball and I've never seen the scenario that happen last Saturday night. I've seen 1 player lose a ball in an inning, but 4 pop-flies in a row were definitely an anomaly. Bakich is a master at slowing down the game and disrupting pitcher's rhythm. I think he watches the innings and if we are in the field at twighlight he slows down the game with strategic time outs. I don't think you see us get bitten twice by that problem. I've never seen a coach use timeouts to manipulate game play like Bakich. He's a master. It has to infuriate opposing coaches and pitchers.

Agreed, that was up there towards the top of the strangest things I have seen in a baseball game. I am glad I was watching because that likely will not happen again.

Same as any baseball game. Pitch well, see the ball and put the bat on it, smart baserunning and good fielding. Maybe the biggest key is to flush the 3 games we just played against the Hokies.
