have the advantage of possibly getting 4 or 5 teams in it. In the 12 team scenario, there should be an absolute limit of three per conference! Personally, I would prefer the limit be two, but that will never happen!

If the goal of expanding the playoffs to 12 teams is to make sure other areas/conferences are represented, and that has been the stated reason because it isn’t to determine the real champion - we did that with 4 teams, then they really should limit each conference to no more than two teams. That’s true representation. Again, they have stated the goal is wider representation and interest, not to determine the proper champion.

Well, he was talking about who is most likely to make the field in the next "few years before it grows beyond the four team format". Do you think FSU, Wash or MichSt are more likely than UGA to make the field in the next few years?

Can I also add Georgia Tech to the list as more likely than UGA? Washington will make it before UGA in a 4 team layout. UGA will only qualify once expansion to 12 teams (based solely on recruiting hype and not based on results from the field).
