Are there downsides to winning a title

As we all sit and eagerly await the dawn of a new college football season. We all ponder the possibility that this could indeed be the year that we reach the penacle of college football epicenter. But with all success stories comes humbling drawbacks. Can a program. that has used "building a powerhouse" as promotional tool to obtain star recruits still have the fire and passion after such an accomplishment. Will current players continue to show the enthusiasm and willingness to teach the underclassmen the pure basics of what it takes to build and substain on a championship level. I more than a lot of tnet's would die to see our Tigers bring
a title back to DV, but my question to you is: Which is most important? The journey to the top, or the fight to stay elite.

The point of building a powerhouse is to sustain once at the top. They are both going to be great chapters in Clemson History once we win the NC.
Of course, I see why you wouldn't understand since your team will never achieve anywhere close.

My reasoning for topic is that true fans ponder all aspects and the truth I'd mosr recruits and players in general want to be trailblazers. Not many want to be reminded of past players when mentioning success. Furthermore I look at realility and its not a Matrix movie.
