Cuse is what was expected a team that has speed and protects the ball was supposed to be. 8 wins in row, 5 straight division wins, 2 true top 15 wins, 1 top 10 win, going into a bye waiting to blast notre dame and this ole boy is very pleased with Clemson and our team!
Yes cuse ran here and there on emotions then looked like Schrader was in slow motion come 2nd half. Our d dominated! Like 7 punts in a row top tol it with game sealing into! Whoevers parents turn is was to bring snacks was in their game! I mean there were sack lunches and tfls for everyone! The defense got fed!
Its very unfortunate dj gave up a 14 point swing on a simple handoff that Mafah would've walked thru the back of the endzone but chit happens. Sad he threw 2 crucial interceptions and we had to pull our thoroughbred qb off the bench the win the game. I sure would've like to see him tucked away until we met a team that deserves his speed, skill and the multidimensional ball playing that comes with him. It was great to see the coaches let him play with 1st string and just shows us what we knew during spring game and gt game... Klubnik is real deal.
But wow, how many people came from the woodwork to apologize for saying dj couldn't do it after last year. Very glad I wasn't one. The play calling for dj this year was like the play calling for Coles last game. Exactly only what he can do. Our qb play calling has been vanilla and only played score for score with wake because wake could hang with our chit on D and until Klubnik that wake qb was best qb I've seen in the league. Taking nothing away from dj and his non ability to not be able to walk and chew gum at the same time.
Hats off to Dabo and company for keeping on doing what they do and thats win! Thank God for someone to play qb besides dj like last year.
8 and 0 hoorah, 38 game record over Bobby Bowdens bunch of cheaters (although phenomenal talent), first time in Death Valley 81 years 2 teams 6 and 0 or better faced off and we won, another game added to longest active stream winning in country, longest home streak and just keep on thinking cause there more! Hats off to the war class naval Ship! Hats off to that defense, tipping the hat to the newest member of the offense Cade! Just a great win and on our way to another ACCCG!!!!
And the real polls come out tuesday!

You are great with your post except for the release date of the first poll. Tuesday Nov 1 is the date for the release of the first CFP poll.

I got news for you. There is nothing in the playbook being held back because of DJ. What you see is what you get and so far it has worked out just fine. Everyone can have an off-game. This young man has shown a lot of character through all of the adversity including a fan base that doesn't seem to believe in him and jumps off the bandwagon after every mistake.
I believe DJ will rise to the occasion and have a strong close to the season.

Have you watched the play calling from previous years to djs

stint! DJ can not roll out of the pocket and throw a consistent accurate pass. I do not believe he has lost his touch on deep balls while he can stand immobile in the pocket for 4 seconds. Its painful to watch him run because more times than not he makes a cut and trips on his mind. 6 foot 5 inches 230 lbs and gets tackled by his shoelace everytime. Go check his stats and game charts. I'm not making this up. The coaches have taken away his choices and give him a hot route and a checkdown on passes. Very few times when he feels like he has a run from the pocket its usually a disaster. Slow disaster cause u can't teach speed. This part is mho and I believe he plays 2 games at once. The one on the field and the other is in his head. Now a huge fact to why I respect DJ. He knuckles down and did more than the coaches asked from him. Lost 30 lbs plus that 375lbs that tweets from California ripping DJs teammates for his faults. I believe DJ to be the undisputed leader of this team and he has earned it. He puts in more work, wakes up earlier, goes to bed later and all around puts in more work in the film room than anyone but a coach.
Doesn't change the fact that DJ might plateau in Canadian football.

This is getting tedious.
The receivers cannot get separation, and that is why you are seeing a change in the play calling.

And see how many non hot route receivers run wide open! U can't be that obtuse. If you believe our multiple ACC championship, division championships, National championships and winningest coach ever hasn't put together a playback especially for DJ then please come explain to my wife why I need a playstation 5 ready television! Our television we have now is huge and will do whatever but I need the best!
Message edited, just checked ur pulse! Lol! Keep fearing the Clemson Tiger cause Sc will lose again!

The only thing I've seen from Cade is potential

He moves well, can escape pressure to extend plays, and he throws a nice ball.
However, he doesnt look comfortable in the pocket, he rolls out when he doesn't need to (including on the sack he took yesterday that was 100% on him for rolling out past his protection), he's thrown a few darts and also a few really inaccurate balls, and he's made some bad reads/throws that really should've been picked off (including one yesterday).
Cade has the makings off a great QB, but I don't think he's particularly close to being ready yet. As I said last night, I think we still need to get him in some real, meaningful, playing time down the stretch to really evaluate where he is in his development, but I honestly think the offense is more limited with him in there than DJ. But if DJ gets the the turnover bug in another game...
