Tajh Boyd is a first class man, a gifted football player and a credit to his family and to Clemson University. I can't wait for the season to start. I believe Tajh will be rewarded for his class, skills, and avoiding a man they call "the Clown". GOOOOO TIGERS

He surly avoided the Clown with his response. Well maybe not, I believe he knew someone would read his response to the Clown.

for Clowney to call out three early Heisman contnenders on national tv is beyond me. For a player who almost sat out this season to prevent injury, he sure did put a big target on his back for the upcoming season

Apparently you have selective hearing, considering Clowney

stated he wasn't even thinking about sitting out. What was it that Spurrier said, "smart people don’t believe everything they read, and they don’t believe hearsay… I guess Dabo believed it.” You must also believe Clowney didn't go to Clemson because Clemson wouldn't accept him due to academics, keep drinking that kool-aid.
I never said it was a good idea, nor do I condone it, but he's a kid, he'll say things he probably shouldn't from time to time. But honestly if you need this for motivation, your team obviously isn't doing something right to begin with.

You should probably go spend your time telling all that to someone who cares.
I have no idea what you're trying to prove.

And you're saying that when Tajh said that he didn't think the coots D line was the best in the sec, it wasn't used as bulletin board material. Please!!!

It is quite simple. This is a CLEMSON site. Things are not written for coots to comprehend. The how to start a meth lab in your trailer park website is that way------>

He knows where it is. He is just to wire to be in a closed space while he is spacing wide open. I bet he could beat a Mustang Cobra Jet in an 1/8 of a mile on his feet.

"He didn't even think about it....."
Says Jadaveon Clowney... if he got caught drinking in 5 Points underage and said "I didn't do it" does that make him innocent? Maybe he did shut down that thought instantly but it certainly stayed in the news for a pretty long time for something that was "never considered."
"But honestly if you need this for motivation, your team obviously isn't doing something right to begin with." - JustLooking24
That's a good quote, considering that your coaches made up a bunch of tweets from Tajh Boyd claiming that he called your defensive line "average" a few years back. Nobody can find those long lost tweets but IT MUST HAVE HAPPENED! They used that for motivation, so clearly the Ole ######## "isn't doing something right to begin with" right?

It is absolutely nothing alike. Y'all would be going crazy, carving out a new statue if Spurrier said "I'm the greatest coach in South Carolina history!" That's arrogance too. Anytime you open your mouth and belittle another person or raise yourself up you are displaying arrogance, so don't start throwing stones since ole Spurrier is kicking back in his glass house...

Most coots are in the very same boat as the clown. They either can't read, or they don't comprehend what they read. One is just as bad as the other.

"Personally? I think so."
He didn't go "AHHHHH YEAH IM THE BEST AND EVERYONE IS SCARED OF ME" like your boy Clowney.
He said he thinks so. Shows confidence without being a jacka$$.

excuse. What it really amounts to is the player said some things that one fanbase thinks is inflammatory and the other thinks is awesome . The fanbase that thinks what he said is awesome is wrong. I hope I cleared this up .

The only thing that would work in clearing the garbage up in their heads is a 44 cal bullet. It would clear it by opening up a large hole so the trash would fall out.

Just like Dabo's "rant." We thought it was awesome, South Carolina fans thought it was the worst thing to hit SC since the Civil War. They're still talking about it, even more than Clemson fans.

To a legit point....dont diah it out if you cant take it. What clowney said was too much for my taste but so is a qb who has 1 quality win in his belt to say he is the best. Lets face it, controversy is what makes rivalries awesome.
Im sure clowney will read his teleptompter just fine tonight when he wins. Either that or throw a 4 bomb to the world.

On November 28, 2012, Tajh Boyd surely exalted himself, after his first touchdown, by giving the fans (and national television) not one, but two Heisman poses, and then the Good Lord must have used Clowney to humble him and bring him low 4.5 times. Amen?
