What a pair out on their anti oligarchy tour, that is some funny stuff.
They had no problem with oligarchy as long as it was on their team. Tell me again where did Kamala get the $1.5b she wasted in 3 months.
They bemoan Citizens United but say nothing about the massive donations to Dems by unions.
I am gonna laugh my butt off in 28 if the Dems are dumb enough to nominate AOC.

I have not voted in a while because my party left me. I would dust off the voter card to vote for anyone but AOC.

There is a bit of a difference. The Democrats are corporatists. I do not seem to remember a Democrat with a cabinet worth a combined half trillion dollars. Under Maga, it is pure fascism, and for fascism to take root, you need the permission of the oligarchs. They are pulling different levers of power.

bottom line, both parties turned their back on the working class along time ago, the GOP just puts up a more convincing veneer with their brand of popoulism. The truth is, the resent their consitituancy, they seem them as standing in the way of the interest of their donor class, and that would be correct. There are more of us than them, and we still have functioning democracy, except for being dealt pre-vetted, terrible choices in presidential elections. All of that could end under this administration if they get their way. Repiublican policies have never been popular, and we will soon learn they are not bluffing, Tax cults for the ultra wealthy are going to come at the expense of the working class. everything else is just a distraction to keep us bickering over small, irrelevant issues like trans people playing in women;s sports.

the Democrats have failed to campaign on working class issues and the Republicans have filled the void by just lying about working class issues with no intent to actually implement anything to benefit the working class.

Since Carter and Clinton, the Democrats have become the Republicans, and the Republicans have become a cult. This has been a long, slow-moving coup since Nixon left office. He and Bush Sr were the last two true Republicans to hold that office. Reagon was no conservative, he was a neo-liberal, Bush was a moron, and Trump is a right-leaning populist with authoritarian tendencies. The Republican party has been dead since Obama ran Romney off the stage. I would take him in a heartbeat over this administration.

I do not think you even know what fascism is. But since when has it ever been OK for a republican to interfere in the private sector, or to use bullying and fear tactics to get what they want, finding a marginalized group to demonize to build support and unity within their party? We have seen this movie before.

Donors? You know the check writers? Makes little difference you know but at least the Pubs are not hiding it. Plus what they are really ticked over is their boys done switched sides.

According to US News and Report Musk donated $133m, lower than Mellon and widow of Alderson.
Also to note cumulative totals of Dem donors and Pub donors are about equal. Now toss in union money and Dems come out far ahead.

I am not sure how that is sad, the Democrats would never let Bernie into power because his policy agenda flies in the face of their donor class. To date, he is the single most popular politician in US, his approval rating is through the roof.
And a lot of us stopped identifying as democrats when Biden and Clinton were forced upon us., The party has lost its way, but ###>n straight I love me some Bernie, he would have mopped the floor with trump in '15. To date he is the most popular Politician in this country by a mile.

Sorry but Sanders is a two faced 🤡.
Touts Norway but fails to mention they have the largest sovereign wealth fund in the world. Also fails to acknowledge their social programs are easier to fund with a much smaller population, one that is substantially healthier than the metric ton weighing USA .

Your claim suggests Democrats only oppose oligarchies selectively, yet conveniently ignores key facts. First, oligarchy isn't defined by political party—it refers to concentrated wealth and influence distorting democracy, which should concern everyone regardless of affiliation.
Regarding Citizens United, unions' donations pale compared to the unlimited, anonymous corporate money unleashed by this ruling. According to OpenSecrets, corporate interests outspend labor unions by a huge margin. Unions represent millions of individual workers; corporate PACs represent narrow interests of very wealthy individuals or corporations, often anonymously.
Your claim about Kamala Harris and "$1.5 billion wasted" isn't based in fact. It's a partisan talking point without evidence. If you're referring to border funding or other initiatives, it's crucial to use accurate, sourced numbers—not random accusations.
As for mentioning AOC in 2028—it's telling that your argument shifts into hypothetical politics rather than addressing concrete policy issues. Perhaps that's because, on policy grounds, many Americans across the political spectrum agree with her stances, like reducing wealth inequality, fighting corporate influence, and supporting workers' rights.
In short, you're repeating partisan talking points rather than engaging with real data or policy. If oligarchy truly bothers you, support policies that reduce big money in politics, regardless of party.
