I think the goal should be break it on the first snap and

then break our own record later in the game. Maybe we can even reset the record 3 or 4 times this game. We need to get louder as the game goes and not peak for play #1.

Are those mini-megaphones still allowed? I thought I had read somewhere that they aren't, which I found strange, but on the other hand I haven't seen a single one at any of the home games in recent memory. I remember a game a number of years ago where there was one put in every seat in the stadium, but that's been a while.

From my understanding they are allowed, just the school, boosters, etc aren't allowed to distribute them. You could certainly bring one in.
I'm thinking vuvuzelas for the entire lower deck.

I'll do my part too.... This is a great project for Tigernetters to promote. We can't make a tackle, catch a pass, or make a recruiting pitch personally, but we can get the word out! 1st series on defense - Set the record!

Anyone who doesn't contribute to this should be shot.

If you are able to make a noise, and you choose not to, then please stop going to games because you are bad for the atmosphere. I see people not yelling all the time and it blows my mind. If half of the people who usually choose not to yell, actually do, then we will easily break the record.

Im worried that the older people and younger wont really attempt to make all the noise they can. Maybe bc they dont understand how much of a difference every lil bit makes or they dont even know about trying to break the record. My perception has always been only 18 to 40 year olds are the ones making noise CONSISTANTLY. Wish we could get the point out to everyone

They had a noise meter the whole game and the stadium announcer made it clear what the objective was. Does anyone know if we will do that?
