We got some after-hike libations there, and three 7s with 6 empty bottles on their table put on a drunken show for us. One staggered off of her stool to go to the bathroom and showed us how an undercarriage can eat 80% of a pair of cutoff jean shorts.

Group to Grandfather Mountain...lot's of walking on top of the mountain and seeing wildlife for the kids....hell on a clear day day you can see seven states...
Also you can take them to some trout farms or sapphire mining sites (which may suck)...but at least you made the effort and spent the bucks to make them happy
Just hit the ABC store in Banner Elk, and you will be fine...

on Grandfather and the BRP, Golf in Newland or Sugar Mtn (unless you have some dayum good connections), trout fishing in the Watuga or Toe rivers, Kayaking in Julian Price park on the BRP, good food at Highlander's Grill, Stonewall's, BE cafe, Bayou Diner, Elevations and Bellas (or drop $500 at Artisanal).
