Won the D2 National Championship last year. Great program with a bunch of transfers.

Coach is a former u7c player Landon Powell as well as the assist coach Matt Williams and recruiting coordinator Trey Dyson. Knew they won their division championship last year with Powell, but haven't followed closely. Am a '67 grad when it was a JC. NGU has an impressive campus with nice view of the mountains.

1) doubt anyone wants anything to do w/ another SC guy leading our program based on ML tenure & what he left in the cupboard

2) even if he were to become a coach (either as assistant to cut his teeth @ D1 level before moving on as HC or if Bakich doesn't pan out), think he'd just be waiting for momma to call for his big opportunity

I grew up with Landon, if he didn't end up at South Carolina as a coach, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended back at home in the triangle somewhere.
