Monte recruited more kids in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Cuba? I don't see a single Latin American player on our current roster. What gives? There are tons of MLB players from those countries.
In fact, it's a recruiting hotbed just waiting to be tapped.

Don’t know, but I’m 100% confident that the jokes on Tnet would be funnier if they recruited posters from Latin America. Posting them in a language I don’t speak would surely increase my enjoyment of them.

French Guiana. Unfortunately, a lot of these kids end up at D1A programs in Brazil, or Arizona State.

Let's be honest there just isn't enough of them that could clear academically to go around. A lot of these kids have done nothing but eat, sleep and train baseball. The MLB has scouts that take these kids right off the street so most don't even have to go to college. Plus there are a lot of shady characters looking to make a buck off these kids.
