As I look back at 2018 (in my own life and in football because, as my wife charges, the two are equal), I see just how special our program is. Look back to the days of Tommy Bowden (not all that bad when you look at other powerhouse programs struggling to stay afloat) when many thought beating the Coots was an accomplishment...now it’s a road sign on the way to the CFP.
Dabo preaches that it’s about the journey and I truly believe he, and all of his players, believe that. It’s time for us fans to really appreciate this program—I think everyone here does, we just all crave more (like the kid at the candy store). We never know how long this run will last, but I promise you both of my children, as long as Dabo is at the helm, we’re in good hands—just look at the players that have bought into this program. Sure, Saban has great recruiting but how often do you hear his players truly admitting to buying into his system?
On that note...I truly think we win by at least 17 tomorrow and if we dont, it’s because we win by 16.
including Vegas which makes for a seriously tough job for Dabo and BV to keep team focused and locked in all season -- now that it's happened and TL16 is quarterbacking this seriously talented roster, we are in the position we hoped we would be.
With respect to Notre Dame, their solid season and their 2015 effort vs. DW4 and the team in muddy Clemson, I see Tigers winning in a game about as competitive as SC game, with less scoring. 34-24.
