Laundromat that served beer? What a concept!

It was great until I discovered:
1-Laundry takes a lot of time
2-Lot of time translates to lot of beer
3-Lot of beer in a bar can get expensive
4-Soap N Suds had a fluff and fold service where they did your laundry, folded it, and delivered it to you

Life changing discovery, #4…may explain why Soap N Suds didn’t survive

I never went to one. Washers and dryers at home are a nice convenience. Google says that some Soap N Suds are still open in some states including Virginia.

Btw, do you really want a stranger to was, dry, and fold your underwear?

1) This was not a concern for me as a college student
2) I would rather have a stranger wash my underwear than wash a stranger’s underwear

we stayed near place in New Orleans Garden District that was a 24 hour Bar/ Laundromat. Didnt use it but it was interesting

Yes, I remember it well. We managed items one and two very well on a frequent basis.

It was two doors down from the Esso, and there was a Hardee's there as well. Can't remember exactly, but it made laundry fun.

Los Hermanos right next door to Hardee's.Best Mexican food that has ever been served in Clemson,IMO.
