I know bakich said he was dealing with a minor Injury but is he ready to go? We need him today.

At this point I’d be shocked if we threw him today. If he was 100% he woulda thrown against state. At this point you just want him healthy for regionals, no sense in risking a reinjury

True I wouldn’t mind sitting him if he’s not ready don’t force it but if he’s fine we definitely need him later in this game.

On one hand, him being healthy for regionals is more important. On the other hand, if he is healthy, I’d like for him to pitch an inning before regionals so he won’t have 3 weeks between appearances

Last I heard he was “close” to being back to full strength but idk what that means. That could mean “he might pitch tomorrow” or it could mean “he’d be available for a Super Regional.” I don’t think there’s been much more specific than that.
