Patrick Sapp parlayed the charge to defense into a pro career. He would be a great locker room guy and could be used as an emergency QB

He reminds me of Logan Thomas with V-Tech. Never was really good at QB but did very well at TE in the NFL.

Logan Thomas runs a 4.6 40 yard dash.

DJ runs 5.15. There is no position on the field DJ would be good at.

Washington converted Logan Thomas to TE and he’s done

Andy Headen was recruited as a quarterback by Clemson, before moving to (IIRC) DE in college and playing LB for the Giants.

I wish DJU only the best, but they guy does not have very good footwork, so I'm just not sure how he could be an effective tight end. I don't see where he could play at the next level.

At this point, he's graduated and he needs to think about the best way to improve his game (or change his position) so that he can be a viable pro prospect. And then he needs to go to a school that will offer him on-the-job training. Presumably someplace on the West Coast.
