LB seems like a tough position for freshmen, but then again, look at what soembody like Luke Kuechly did his true freshman year at BC-- becoming the team's leading tackler with 158 tacles (87 solo).
I hope these guys learn quickly. It would be nice to see Clemson return to being LB University.

Steele will know who hes looking at and what hes got after the 2nd scrimmage...the film of the scrimmages will show the footwork..the upper body stenght..the speed...the agility..the agressiveness......now..by the way...he looked at all of that before he handed out the scholarship...i expect to see one or two of these LB's be REALLY special...REALLY special

He already knows how strong, fast and agile they are. What he'll be looking for is whether they line up in the right place and know when to drop into pass coverage.

the best thing about this ,is that coach steele is a linbackers coach,and his defenses are predicated on good linebacker play.with the talent we have at that position,it will open up a whole new chapter in his playbook.
