Steam, bake or fry them so you don't get sick.

You drop one on the ground, ants will be all over it.

Biminis Oyster Bar. Lake Arrowhead Road across the street from Kroger. They do great steamed oysters. Order them lightly steamed to make sure they are not over cooked. They serve them raw as well. They used to have oyster specials on Sundays and Tuesdays. Not sure if they still have the same specials. Their fried shrimp is also exceptional.
https://www.biminisoysterbar.com/![]() Bimini's Oyster Bar Bimini's is all about laid-back atmosphere, the freshest shellfish and seafood, and absolutely the friendliest service you'll find. There's always beach music in the air and a friendly crowd where the locals treat out-of-towners like one of their own.

If they are raw, what does a restaurant have to do with it?

Bimini’s Happy Hour is how I used to start my evening. We would scarf down a few dozen at 1/2 price with some cold beer before going out. This was pre-Covid, so go online to verify they still do this.
