If we raise ticket prices to

$400 per game, Clemson Football would gross over 200 million a year in additional revenuer, meaning we would knot need to be part of a conference with a lucrative TV deal to compete financially. If you guys really love Clemson football, you would pay up, because this would be enough to expand capacity to 200k after 2 years, raising revenue to over 1/2 a billion annually. I doubt the Big22 has thought of this yet, because I came up with it first. But sometimes it is the obvious answers that take the smartest among us to see.

Since we have to GIVE 3K seats to our ACC opponents for home games, just simply being in the ACC would cost us $5M a year under your new plan.

Really make it a bang for the buck and sell $12cokes, $9 hotdogs, $7pretzels, $9 pizza slices. Oh wait, that is about what it is now is it not??

It will not be $400 per game but prices are going to go up. I looked at OSU prices yesterday.

I've always said this.

I was given a couple tickets to the Miami game last year, and I knew my buddy hadn't paid that much for them, so I left $200 under each seat for stadium staff to find and give to Mr. Neff

Your math is all wrong. No need to expand to 200,000 seats when you can double dip with parking costs.

Thinkers of this ilk are already manipulating seating capacity to this end.

Opposing bands are being relegated to the upper deck, but in a few years those bands will be further removed to circling blimps while we charge PREMIUM GREENBACKS for those upper deck seats. I’m talking like 3-figure sums.

It might work if we just all agree to only go to home games and not fly out for the Stanford/Cal/TX games. That saves a lot of money to help with this...
