Just feels out of touch. 1-4 in the last 5 P5 games. And he is talking about folks on this roster winning a couple of nattys in the future? After a loss? After a loss to go 0-2 in conference?

We may not even be ranked in the top 25 at the end of the year. I wonder if Oregon State is ranked at the end of the year?

Maybe it is different in coaching meetings (I’m sure). But it seems like, whenever Dabo is talking to the media, that he hit the pause button after the ‘18 NC game.

Thee is no way you can tell anyone with a straight face that DJ stands in there on some of those throws and makes those completions with a guy coming at him. The touchdown to Shipley, would have been in the ground at his feet. They are making plenty of mistakes and have no luck at all but DJ would not help this team any, it would be so much worse.

I hear you. Sure, you don’t want to admit what is empirically true. But it is also odd for a 0-2 conference record team to be talking about future national championships after a loss. Especially if there is a concern around the coaching staff losing touch with the modern CFP landscape. That also doesn’t help with recruiting.

I’m being lighthearted but it is true that we are closer to not being able to “hack it” then we are to winning 2 more national championships. 26-10 in the last 36 games.
