Another crap officiating call from game

I was watching the replay and on the play just before UGA scored their final TD, Marshall catches the pass and takes it down to the 1 (according to the official). When watching live from our seats, I couldn't believe they marked him out at the 1, and the replay shows he first stepped out of bounds at the 3, then takes another step out of bounds at the 2 (you even see orange paint kick up). The line judge is right there and completely blows the call (again).
I know it doesn't make a difference in the end as we won, but that could have had a major impact.

He stepped out at the 3 however he was leaning forward and the ball was around the 2. So I think the ball should have been spotted at the 2. But I don't think it really matters, they still score a touchdown from the 2 IMO.

from the 2 especially the clock.
who knows, but dabo did say in his presser that was on the coaching staff[eyes in the sky] and the spot should have been challenged.

Does anyone know were these ACC or SEC or another league officials? They were horrible and I don't normally criticize officials.

But I thought they were pretty good. They did get a couple close calls wrong, but they were corrected. I don't think they missed a lot of holding calls, and there were no bad calls like the pass interference calls against us vs SC last year.

Not to be disagreeable but in the first quarter and the start of the second quarter they did not call many holding calls against the dawgs! there were multiple holds with none called. Look at the game again and it is very obvious.

If you go on a Georgia board you'll see them complaining about the Refs not calling a ton of holding on us. I'm guessing that means it was pretty even if both sides are complaining.

It was a miss but overall, the game was called pretty good. No one is perfect.

They were SEC.

I thought they did a decent job. As they say, you could call holding on any given play.
