LOL, Clemson celebrates on signing day, usuck celebrates on gameday. Used to be the other way around. Who cares about recruiting when usuck kicks our butts every year? He can bring in all the highly rated prospects he wants, but until old captain goofy-rant stops getting embarrassed on the field by usuck, he ain't done jack ####. If recruiting is so important, the why were we blown out by nc state and wvu, two teams we have out recruited handily. How many blue chips does nc state have? How many did wvu have? I guess when you have nothing to celebrate on the field, you have to cheer about something. Yay recruiting! Just don't watch the actual games and everything will be fine.

WVU was getting to BCS games for years and their talent now illustrates the rewards of that. We are excited about recruiting, in combination with the coaching hires, because they offer hope in moving in the right direction.
Or we can just miserable until the Nov game with SCar, which appears to be your approach. Good luck with that.
Here's hoping for a brighter future, starting with good recruits and sound off season coaching.

That's pretty short-sighted. Obviously we need to perform on the field but it lays a good foundation when your roster is packed with four and five star recruits.

I believe that Clemson has been a little short on leadership in the last few years. Recruiting great, young players is a necessity but we also need to begin developing leaders on the field. That is a part of coaching I guess and we haven't been good at that. With only eleven seniors this year, I can see that it may continue to be a problem. I also believe that Clemson will place even more emphasis on the usuck game this year. The team showed last year in the big games with VPI and FSU that they can be focused and play with anyone ... when they want to! The effort wasn't there against the chickens and WVU and that really concerns me. I think we would have fared better against NCSU if Sammy had been on the field. That was the first game that the team played without him ... and he is a difference maker. GT is just a pain in the #### and I think that the new DC will solve that problem.

Can we play the ultra bright big screen and make it flash anytime they are facing it......or kicking toward it?

Got so sick of that happening last year. It was blinding in the upper stands of the opposite end zone. Could only imagine how it was affecting the players.

I have to agree. If we can't win games what good are 5 star recruits? Look at Mike Bellamy. He went nowhere. We need consistent coaching. The cheerleaders perform at half-time!
