Oh grow up! You probably still think Covid is as bad as the government is saying, despite the fact that all the evidence and science shows that only people over 70 with a weak immune system or people that are obese and have diabetes and other metabolic syndrome issues really have anything to worry about. If Covid had hit 50 years ago even 40 years ago few people would’ve died. We are a fat unhealthy nation because of our diet. The same thing that makes people susceptible to Covid is the same thing that causes most heart disease and most cancer: diet! Bad diet! Carbohydrates and sugar!
Everything in life is a risk. You take a risk getting out of bed. More people are killed in America buy things other than guns, but all we hear about is guns. Guns are not even in the top 20 things that kill people in America. But you probably think guns are bad too!
Life is about risk! If you enjoy life you are gonna take risk. Everyone has the right to choose for themselves how they want to live their life. Football teachers more than you can learn in many other ways. Football and athletics in general is how most black kids get an education and get out of poverty. Are you a racist? Do you hate black people?
People like you should wrap yourself in bubble wrap and never leave your house. You probably think big daddy government should protect us, rather than us living our own lives and making our own choices and decisions! Speak for yourself and shut up when it comes to other people! You’re the one being selfish you’re the one being totalitarian you’re the one telling other people how to live!

Drop in quality and increase in injuries

If you don’t have some contact in practice, there will be some serious issues during games. Players need to learn how to handle contact. Oklahoma drill serves two purposes — close contact and upping the intensity in practice. We have come a long way from four weeks of two-a-days, no water at practice, you just got your bell rung etc. This proposal goes too far. There is risk in any aspect of life. There is risk playing football. Dancing is a contact sport. Football is a hitting sport.

That would require a little bit of critical thinking, which unfortunately many people in this country not longer have because they believe what the media and politicians tell them. And the NCAA definitely has no ability to think critically.
The NCAA doesn’t realize it but this is just one more nail they’re putting in their own coffin where they’re going to lose the goose that lays the golden eggs. The power five schools are already well on their way to leaving the NCAA.

The NCAA is putting college athletes especially football players health endanger by cutting back on physical training and contact. Physical and body contact preparation IMO is critical to the health of a player.
I believe the death of players could be related to their fast food diets growing up. When I was growing up my mom cooked fresh food most every night. Rarely did we eat fast food. If you compare Clemson verses other programs injuries are not as common as at other programs. Each player has his own special diet at school. Coach Batson and his staff do a great job getting the players in top shape for the season while the coaching staff do a great job running safe practices.
The last people that need to stick their nose in a programs preparation is The NCAA! Maybe this is their way to get back some of the control they have lost over collegiate sports the last few years.
Maybe 13 to 15 games are to many games for college football players!!

My question is why aren't there several companies coming out with new helmet prototypes? Isn't that where we should be working? I'm not saying it would be easy but except for the circular spot on the top that gives some, what has changed on the helmets since we've gained an awareness of CTE? Let's try some stuff
