I don’t usually care about conference. More disappointed in how bad we were on defense in critical games this year. But can you imagine Nebraska having their first winning season since 2016. They were such a powerhouse when I was coming up.

beat up on the worst teams in the conference and did nothing against the best teams on their schedule.
Yet we are reminded here multiple times a day that we won our conference and made the playoffs, as if that justifies the fact that our program is a long way away from being elite again.

What’s our SOR in comparison? Our W-L in the ACC doesn’t exactly carry a lot of weight, especially when you look at our non conference performance of late. Vanderbilt could probably average 9 wins in our garbage conference

While they're certainly not perfect, I tend to trust the AP voters, Coaches, and CFP Committee that factor in many elements, including SOR, among large collections of professionals in determining season end rankings.

power being Top 5 in the country this season from a HS rating standpoint. Sure, rankings like that obscure holes in some areas and such, but for being the chump you are calling him out to be during the NIL / Portal period, seems like he pretty much mastered that area as well considering the talent he's been able to amass, and retain, despite not going the high $$$ bidding route and costing boosters extra $ Millions for all the shiny objects others seem obsessed with.
We have the 7th best record these past four seasons out of everyone, plus 2 ACC championships and a CFP berth. Your mama must have dropped you on your head as a baby from her lap if you think these past four years are falling off a cliff.

What is “bowl season” now really though ? These kids wanna win but you can’t tell me it’s the same with kids sitting out , coaches leaving , etc. there’s kids playing that have said they are transferring haha what is that and how does that effect the locker room?! I don’t put any stock in win or losses during bowl season outside of the playoffs anymore. They are all meaningless really.
