Observing how it always happens meaning our bullpen has been horrible and inconsistent.

pitch count....around 80 tosses....And Crownover looked good the 6 he pitched....he really only grooved one ball
our bullpen is another matter though

Who would of known West Virginia had 2 Nolan Ryan's today?I love all the excuses I see every year backing our coaches..it's cold, it's the first game...yada yada yada. You had 6 months to prepare for a high school team on your home field and looks like you will be shut out...Clemson hasn't hit the ball the last 10 years but no changes are ever made. I told a buddy of mine that West Virginia would win the series and he thought I was crazy

FSU and USuC are both losing to inferior opponents. The football mentality of needing to win every game doesn't work in baseball.

True, but Clemson loses all the time to inferior opponents. Those 2 teams you mention above will be in Super Regionals in a few months, Clemson will not be.

I'm only reading about the game on here but it sounds to me as there is no difference in this year's team and the ones in the past 3 years. Pulling pitchers at inappropriate times, not hitting with runners in scoring positions, etc. It seems the meeting of the minds with Leggett accomplished nothing.
Hope I'm wrong but it sounds like same 'ol same'ol to me. I realize this is only game 1 but its a carbon copy.

Those two teams also won't gas their best pitcher in a 40 degree day in February. It's a long season, you don't wear down a pitcher (who has had Tommy John surgery) in game 1.
