From ESPN ACC Blog. And finally, here’s a number that pretty much sums up Clemson’s season so far: In two games against FBS teams, Clemson is averaging 2.37 yards-per-play in the fourth quarter and overtime (fourth-worst nationally) and has picked up just three first downs (worst in the nation).

Still shocking our high powered offense ranks this poorly is all. Point is we need to pick it up in the 2nd half of our games if we expect to win out. Is it lack of half-time adjustments or playing too conservatively? I realize poor field position had a lot to do with the GA game and Morris admitted he didn't open up the playbook because of that. But we're much better than this and need to kick it up in the 2nd half and especially in the 4th! A lot of positives to take away from the FSU game though. Go Tigers!

by my count, 14 plays for 96 yards.

That's 6.9 yards per play.

Everyone knows the UGA game was bad...but there's no reason to lump the 2 performances together.

We lost because of stupid mistakes, not an inability to move the ball.
