Decent get...contact hitter who's going to get on base and provide a quality AB...we have a ton of power to replace...I like it but he's not a solid answer.

I think he’s an awesome get. Power is nice but solid hitting is better. Runs batted in are just as important as home runs.
We still have room to add a power guy or two

The kid has almost a .500 obp. Many will claim his lack of power a weakness. The lead of man’s job is to get on base. Anything over .350 lifetime avg is outstanding. Hope he can stay hot and healthy.

The only people who will claim it’s a weakness are casuals who don’t truly like baseball, you couldn’t ask for a better lead off hitter than this guy

You don't know if he will lead off....They are just as inclined to put Cam back there or Purify...He and Mathes are completely different players.

Might have already been said but I guess getting another lefty was on Coaches priority. Would like to see more power as well but seems like a solid player. Be interesting to see what Purify and Narowki does next year. I think we Creighton will be solid but not a power hitter for sure.

DKS is a cracker box in the corners so are many SEC schools, good contact hitters can be 10-15HR guys these days. Nice to have HR hitters but guys that square up the ball in a regular basis and not K are my type guys
