Kind of funny how last Spring he was working on strength

And adding weight to become stronger between the tackles.
Now this Spring it's the opposite - he's working on slimming down to add speed. I hope he manages to do both!

Just out of curiosity, how does losing weight help in the blocking?

I would guess that by losing s little weight, his quick twitch muscles would be faster , thus helping him move on those blitzing linebackers and defensive ends .

Didn't Dabo recently point to the weight room, suggesting that this was where he needed to be? That would indicate a need for added strength and power. But, I may be wrong.

He can get stronger without adding significant weight. That's why we have a strength program. Power lifters are among the strongest people in the world, but always strive to keep their weight down.

If Feast Mode is indeed faster than last year ... will he need to run backward to avoid competitive advantage inquiries from the NCAA infractions committee ?

Well if you going to use the RBs to block LBs and help with DEs then you better get them close to 220#s. You have to weigh the speed verse being big and strong to block them. It just makes since. Not too many RBS that 6'2" 230 and run a 4.3 in the 40ty. Except for bama and uga.
