It just hit me as I sit here rewatching Outer Banks (Season 1) for the fifteenth time. By “it”, I don’t mean depression and regret while replaying decisions I made over the weekend over and over in my head. I’ve learned to cope with that pretty well.
What I’m talking about is the need for live college sports to be televised on Monday mornings to make the day suck less. I’m sure I can speak for everyone when I say that Mondays mornings are worse than the Blood Tongue Sausage your 90 year old great aunt brought to the party grandma threw to celebrate your graduation from middle school. Literally no one likes Mondays.
In addition to giving you something to look forward to, it presents a great opportunity to win back whatever money you lost betting on NASCAR or the PGA Tour over the weekend. I could absolutely get into watching college golf, softball, track & field, or hell, even fencing. Just wake those kids up, feed them a bowl of Cheerios and put them in front of a camera or two.
I’d watch that over whatever ######## talk shows ESPN is probably airing right now. Ratings would be huge.

Good news. "Outer Banks" Season 2 is on NetFlix now. I just finished watching it and it is as good as Season 1, maybe better. Season 3 is already in the works.

If I'm not working, I usually will just sleep until noon. I highly recommend it. Mornings can't suck when you're asleep.
