Now being heralded as being a solid contender, or even being picked by a few to be in the Natty game (vs Texas or your pick)..

Plus Cade being the #1 returning QB in many analyst’s opinions and at the top of the early Heisman list.

Saying, how the Sports World can change on a dime, or rather with the infusion of millions of $ going to support a particular player, group of players or an entire team.. and/or hiring a few new coaching staff members who bring new intensity, knowledge or game time experience.

Lastly, ole in tenure & steeped in horse sense mid-aged Dabo knowns & sees thru all this gloom & doom scenario along with the possible success & glory that hard work and a new season filled with astute leadership, a proven plan and a talented team that buys into it can bring..

Thus he keeps grinding, recruiting & staying the course while smiling at his bank & portfolio accounts and planning to win more championships, for Clemson football.

Go TiGERS..Jeep Rocking!

I hate all the rat poison being thrown out about us. Hopefully, the team just stays humble and focused. Dabo will see to that I'm sure.

LSU and Clemson are ranked in the top ten. Remember when Bama and Clemson were ranked in the top ten and we barely held a to 25 ranking at the end of the season.

ESPiN wants eyes on the screen and spends the entire offseason ensuring that they have a top ten matchup for that first game.

In this case I believe LSU is a fraud. Whether we make the final four in the PO or not LSU will be credited with a strong SOS.

BTW, our showing last season was strong. We didn't go out with a whimper we won our conference and won a playoff game.

won a playoff game? LSU went out and loaded up on high end talent in the portal. we will find put 1st hand whether either team is for real or not. Our secondary depth will be tested big time because NUSSMEYER can flat out sling it. I had hoped we would have gotten another experienced safety from the portal, and of course improved our punting ( dead last in ACC). I do have 1000% more confidence in Tom Allen leading the defensse, so we will see.

1. Our lower caliber defensive coordinator was replaced with someone who clearly excels where the last one lacked.
2. We went out and filled our needs by effectively using the portal.
3. Our offense showed what it can do against Texas and…
4. Due to the way Dabo has defiantly resisted trends, our roster retention has yielded unusual (these days) stability.
