Amari Rodgers Vs Scott

Does anybody know if Amari supposed to be significantly faster than Artvis was? Also, if he is quicker? I think we are going to see a ton from Amari this year.

Apparently Scott played some rb in HS. He always ran like he was a fullback. I used to love that about him and worry about it too

He is heavier for sure, not quite as tall, but quick and will break off some long ones. Just my view after watching a lot of his film. Course, that's against high school competition. Stepping up to college, he is facing bigger tougher DBs.

Amari could be much better

He has a huge weight advantage. I think Scott was in the 190ish area. Amari is a healthy and ripped 212. Amari and Scott probably have the same straight line speed and quickness. But Amari is much more explosive. Have you seen the videos of him going up to get the ball? Dude can leap with the best of them. He also appears to have a very large wingspan and hands. Amari is my favorite slot receiver prospect we've had come to Clemson in Dabo's era. We will see how he turns out, but he could be the best slot WR ever here.

he's probably faster. Scott only ran a 4.61 at the combine. He was tough as nails and ran like a guy much bigger than his size, but he wasn't really that fast.

Agree with other posts but the one big thing I would add is that Amari has much better hands. The only knock on Artavis was he tended to catch the ball with his body. Amari on the other hand has outstanding hands. Only time will tell if he' s tough as Artois though. Just my 2 cents.
