UConn no Football (I account that to not being in a conf and hard to recruit), back to Back Men’s basketball Natty, multiple women’s Natty,
Oregon St 3 Natty in Baseball always a decent football team
Heck really they should of invited these 3
UConn
Oregon St
Washington St
Over
Stanford
Cal
SMU
Or just all 6

the ACC will shift to being largely a hoops-focused conference which is pretty much what they've always wanted.

Several years ago it should have been Kansas, TCU and Stanford to get to 18 and be done with it. Adding those 3 could have enticed Notre Dame to join in football and would made ACC basketball much better. Of course to sort of paraphrase Dabo, you can ask a girl to the prom but she has to say yes. Baseball is a minor sport so you don't add a school because of it any more than you would for soccer or golf.

I would have preferred Memphis and Tulane with SMU rather than West Coast and more Yankee schools.

Oregon St Wash St would make a neat little POD out there ... UConn ? I do not understand the hate that some people have for them ... MAJOR school in the NE, yuge demographic Not good in Football ? They will be if in ACC, recruiting ... All the local football talent there now go to say Penn State, Maryland ... elsewhere.

I don't see why the ACC needs another basketball loving school from the Northeast when expansion is all about football. That's how Swoffie and the ACC botched everything to begin with by adding basketball schools like BC and Syracuse.
