It's gotta suk to be UNC or Duke now that their home is

about to be given over to the big east giants....they've been the top dog for so many years and now we're about to see that medal get tarnished. With Cuse, Louisville and Pitt coming in they won't ever be the dominators ever again....I guarentee you ole Kryzewski is looking into that retirement plan now for the first time. He'll do this for about 4-5 more years and they once Duke finished in 3rd of 4th in the conference for the 5th year in a row...he'll be out and just'a cussin'.

Duke and UNC recruit and play just as well as those schools.

No reason to think they would consistently finish 3rd/4th. It would be harder for them to win it every year.

their own refs. Until Karl Hess and his lemmings are gone, dook and UNShe will probably continue to dominate.
My best friend who is a huge Pitt fan doesn't believe me when I tell him about the treatment they'll get in Cameron and in the Dean Dome. He actually thinks his team will get a fair shot. LOL at his naivety.

Good teams find a way to compete. Your comment could be applied to our football team should we ever join the SEC, but most of us think we would hold our own, if not improve, against stronger competition. The ACC is about to become the SEC (football) of college basketball. If I were Coach K or Roy Williams, I would welcome the new teams. To quote Ric Flair, "To be the man, you've got to beat the man!"

compete...i said they're dominance is finished. You're post was idiotic in that you thought i said they would go to cellar or something.
Its pretty much UNC's or Duke's to lose every year...and that is no longer the case. You're taking this way too far moron...duke will never be a bad program but they'll have to earn it every year and you won't see those ACC championships go up in Cameron at the same rate as it used to.
So please...go back to bed.

Jim "cry baby" Boheim, is doing the most whining. Heck he took a shot at the ACC a couple of weeks ago at a postgame presser, even though no one asked him a question about it. He has even hinted around about retiring because of going to the ACC.
Go ahead Jim....take your ball and go home.

So you think those Big East schools are just going to fall in line under Duke and UNC like everyone else? Just end up another miami or v tech....wrong. These guys are heavyweights and Duke and UNC are just another team to those guys.

I think the additions of the new schools plus who we add in the past few decades will erode the the power of the big four. I think the officiating might get better. Because we are likely to see some of their crews

Duke & UNC are two of the top 4 programs in the entire nation.
Compare the number of Final Fours on each team's resume over the past 20 years.
