What ever reason these seniors give for transferring is BS

I don't care how Pagano, Baker, Wiggins and the staff spins it. It all boils down to the kid wasn't starting, didn't want to spend their senior year on 2nd team, so decided to quit and walk. We can see that Baker and Pagano's reasoning was hogwash by where they ended up. Why so much spin? Just own it for what it is. It's an ugly way to end a career at a school that did a good job making sure they got their education and degree, but I guess they feel it is their best chance to start and get NFL chance. How are we going to maintain depth with this BS going on. These kids could at least notify earlier so we can sign someone on signing day.

Mr. "I don't care if Clemson Closes its doors", you have no right to call some people out who have actually done something for Clemson. Pathetic.

I saw once where Alabama had this same situation. It ruined them.

The upperclassmen have to realize that the coaches are always striving to recruit better talent. It is a good problem to have. I don't like the timing and being allowed to transfer to a potential opponent.

They don't owe me a reason.

They: 1) chose to come to Clemson 2) competed while here 3) didn't get in trouble 4) were part of why we won so many games 5) were part of winning a national championship
I say, shake their hand, wish them well in all future endeavors (unless those endeavors come against Clemson) and look forward to the players who are here. There is, in my estimation, no reason to carry ill will or get upset over players making choices they feel are best for their lives.

At least announce the decision to help the coaches in recruiting.

You presume a number of things
Apr 28, 2017, 1:09 PM
|
|
1) You presume they knew (or had made their minds made up) before now that they were leaving.
2) You presume they did not communicate with the coaches where they were at during the decision process
3) You presume that even if the coaches had known between the end of the season and signing day, that we would've chosen to fill those scholarships this year rather than stay on recruiting schedule for their positions since they had been evaluating recruits based on that schedule. Of course there may have been recruits they would've taken, but most of those recruits we would've found a way to take even without these departures.

Injury** is the key (IMHO)
Apr 28, 2017, 1:55 PM
|
|
The injuries these players had changed the career path of all these ""kids"" -- you hear it everyday from the coaches ( healthy body, but the mental side needs to heal ) never back to the point, before the injury !!! ____ when you go down,it's next man up and some never recover ( mentally** ) -- rather than be a "second/third string player" you transfer to a program you can finish first string ** --- I wish them all well !!! GO TIGERS !!
