Alabama and Florida State University Football

Are they Christian schools or football teams? Does God win their games or does hard work, training, and perseverence seem to help a bit more.
Religion has nothing to do with a football program's success or failures.
We all want wins, but we need to care less about the players religious experiences and more about their success as students, football players, and men.
Who cares about prayers before games and what-not?
Also, I don't identify with any religion. But they can if they want to.

In your 3rd paragraph, can you describe what you mean when you say "their success as students, football players, and men."

They are neither Christian schools,or football teams. They are Christian schools with football teams that won national championships. BUT wait,so is Clemson. Maybe that's why FFRF are not forcing their views on the school in cootsville. They haven't won a football championship.

Some people would argue the only way to help a child grow into a man, becoming successful no mater what the field is only possible through Christianity.
I am one of those people.

Religion does not make you successful....in anything...but faith does...I am not a perfect Christian, but do have Christ like concerns for people and believe in myself and consider myself successful and confident...and everyone believes in something, even this vermin attacking Clemson athletics. If you don't have faith in anything you will never accomplish anything. I have no problem with the way Swinney and staff conduct themselves

Are you saying some fans believe God would show favor to

Clemson (or has shown favor to Alabama and FSU) based on the number of Christians on the team?
Maybe some people believe that absurdity, but that's not Dabo's goal when he shares his faith.
His goal is (like you say) "their success as students, football players, and men".

I believe CDS would choose to lose every game he ever coached again if he had to chose between winning vs. making a significantly meaningful, eternal difference in his players life. He wouldn't be around here long - lol - that's for sure !
And I don't think that he would even hesitate in making that choice.
That's the guy, for me, that I want coaching my alma mater's team.
He wants to win - he wants to win with an intense passion - but he has his priorities in the right order. 99% of our guys won't earn a significant living playing football - but what they do with the rest of their life matters to CDS. In my opinion - you couldn't ask for anything more.

than spend an eternity without the presence of God. The fire of h-ell you've heard of doesn't scare me, son.
That being said, The God I know and love expect me to do everything 'wholeheartedly, not as with eye service as men pleasers.' I'm suggesting here that these young men that are committed to Christ are probably learning that lesson to.
