My guess is he follows Pollard to UVA. But EB would be a fool to not at least give him a call. Stud ball player

We got 2 already. One more will be nice. The biggest key is get Dane healthy! Knaak, Titsworth, Bell, Moehler would be a great weekend rotation with a mid week starter. We did lose Garris and Lucas our best 2 bullpen pieces. Hopefully Allen takes a step forward,

I’m thinking we will see transfers deeper into the off-season once some players realize that they are getting beat out

That's my worry, these guys block Wentworth, Castellani, Anchors, and Jacobs. McCladdie and Crighton now are blocked by newcomers, so they would be my first guesses to transfer out due to them having less eligibility. This is Crighton's last year, and by no means am I suggesting he's an MLB talent, but if he thinks he has a shot, he might want a more secure starting role elsewhere.
I thought Wentworth looked very good last year, and Castellani was set to be the next big lefty hitter, I just hope EB can fit them in regularly as opposed to last year. We hardly played any freshman and sophomores this past year, so I'd hope they get some looks this year along with Anchors, Jacobs, Prather, and Marshall so they can at least show what they've got. I do like that power is clearly the focus, but hopefully Bakich talked to the guys and reassured that spots aren't a given at this point.

It feels like Prather got a hit in most of his opportunities too

The Portal makes it to easy to bail out of a situation rather than working harder to EARN a spot on the field/court.

I also do think we need some more pen arms. Right now I calculate about 15 trustworthy pitchers for next year. For reference I counted 19 going into last season, and through injuries and struggles, my final count was about 9 I trusted by year’s end
