Would you go pick up your friend's wife at the airport at 1 am on a Sunday

(and you had an early Monday morning meeting) because she was afraid to take an Uber? You were sort of asked about this request (more like it as just assumed you'd do it) around 9 pm Sunday.

Friends of have buddy passes to go somewhere on Friday. When they try to return to CHS, all the flights are booked. This is not new, and they are familiar with how this buddy pass thing works. This happens alot using buddy passes.
I get a text randomly on a Friday to go let their dog out and feed it. Sure I can do that, no problem. (I've done this quite a few times over the years) Get another text Sunday if I could go could let their dog out at 10 PM because their dog sitter left. OK, no problem. Also..how long will you be up? Friend of won't be making it back but friend's of wife is coming back at midnight and needs a ride home, so try and be there around 12:15.
Uh...be WHERE? The airport? Yeah Thanks buddy! I'm like "why not take an Uber?" Him: She's scared of those by herself.
Me: Huh?..Ok..I guess I can be there.
She texts and hour later and says she got bumped, but can get in around 1 am. "Is that too late? If it is we have another friend that come get me" At that point, I said, yeah, I'm out for 1 am.
I get a text 5 minutes later. "Thanks for feeding the dog. I found a ride."
Its been radio silence since then, and I finally texted both of them and asked when they both got in. About an hour later (from her): "I ended up getting in at 11:30, and friend of got in later the next afternoon".
And that's been the extent of it. I'm pretty sure they are both mad I didn't go get her.
I think my problem is I've been too nice and they just take me doing stuff for granted, and when I finally say no to something, they got all butthurt about it.
Note--I had been drinking some Sunday afternoon, had sobered up, but was tired AF and hadn't planned on going anywhere.
AITAH (I mean in this particular situation)?

Dog: Their responsibility. Put him at a doggo day care or something.
Rides: Dafug. Sounds like they are trying to skirt paying for parking and uber. So they make this your or someone else's problem?
I get helping out. Don't mind it. This seems excessive though.

flexible lifestyle and that's cool and all right up until you start moving responsibilites to someone else on the reg.
I think IE said it was a 15 min ride to their house? Multiple round trips AND an airport pick up?
Better be a quarterbag and YUGE bottle of top shelf tequila for all that, amigos.

CHS airport is about 15 miles from my house. On Sunday at 11:30pm traffic isn't bad. Any other time its easy a 35 minute ride.
But riding around mt pleasant > 11:30pm on Sunday? Be prepared to be stopped by the cops.

they make private car services that can pick people up at the airport and sounds like it was cheaper for you to do the dog duty instead of the dog sitter.
I'd pay for parking to keep my car at the airport over inconveniencing a friend.

I'd never put myself in this position to rely on others to begin with. If you are doing teh buddy pass stuff, you should know going into it what could most likely happen.
Obviously, everyone isn't like that, and get mad when others aren't their b!tch.
Really, I think that last part that bothers me more than anything else.

Negative. Had a friend and his wife ask me to take them to the airport at 4AM. I had taken them a time or two around 7 AM before.
That was a bridge too far. I laughed and said no, that I would be sleeping and suggested they take an Uber or pay to park just as I have done.
Haven't heard anything from them since.
This proved they weren't my friends to begin with and that they are lacking in the knowledge that they are not the only 2 humans on the planet.
I wouldn't give it a second thought.

Both are true for my "friends." They have plenty of money and were asking me to do something I wouldn't begin to ask someone else.
I think that's the key. I would never ask someone to pick me up after 10 PM or drop me off before 7 AM except immediate family.
It's the same deal with folks who are habitually late. They do not value your time. I have very little tolerance for that even with family and actual good friends and have left both behind on occasion, but patched things up later.
