Again DEMs..America is a Constitutional REPUBLIC & Not

a democracy as this left-leaning group of DEM congressional leaders state always which gives their ideology & global plans away.

Lots of differences which I will detail in days ahead, but know our Founders stated the differences in their writings and thus made sure we were not given a democracy type of government..

and they never used the word “democracy” in the Constitution or The Bill of Rights.

Nope.

A "republic" is just any form of government that is not a monarchy or autocracy, where power is shared in some fashion. China is a republic. Russia is a republic. Before Julius Caesar toppled the government and seized power, Rome was a republic. Once he did, it became an Empire.

Republics come in all shapes and sizes. China is a "people's republic"; a socialist state. On paper Russia's a democratic republic much like the US or many nations in Europe - in reality it was an oligarchy that evolved into what's now essentially a mafia state.

Obviously the US differs significantly from those republics. The US was indeed established by the Founding Fathers as a democratic republic. The two terms are not mutually exclusive, at all.

The difference being a "constitutional" republic. Meaning that the people, or those representing us, cannot suddenly decide one day that being a Presbyterian is against the law. That would be unconstitutional. I challenge that power is "shared" in either China or Russia.

I would say to seek mental help. At this stage you should just ride it out.

So, you're wrong as usual...

Republic comes from a Latin word meaning, "entity of the people."

Democracy comes from a Greek word meaning, "the people rule."

They are not mutually exclusive, and we clearly have an overlap here.

We elect representatives into the House. We elect Senators in each state. The Electoral College is elected by the people in each state. All of these require a form of Democracy.

We have an indirect form of Democracy in this country, a type of Republic, but definitely a Democracy.

When Red Hats say we're not a Democracy, they're just showing their neo-fascist colors. When did my former party become the party that hates Democracy? It's amazing the shift.

To eventually justify and cheer on a potential dictatorship.

Just come out and say y'all want that.

So how should that change voters thinking?

I’m assuming most here recognize we are a representative republic.

What is your point? Am I - a never Trumper hawk RINO - now supposed to go all in MAGA with your proclamation?

Cheers
