Got the momentum back after weathering Arnold. That walk off outta taken some steam out of their sails. Keep the bats hot and see if FSU has any fight left in them.

They definitely have to be feeling demoralized. Run ruled in game 1 and a walk-off in game 2? How do you even get mentally rallied for game 3 at that point?

Got to get them to forget about today.

But the way the center fielder just leaned against the fence on the tieing GS and the 2nd baseman (or shortstop) was just sitting on the ground w/ his hat off and a "deer in the headlights" look after the winning single tells me they are devastated.

This is what the manager gets paid to do, we'll see what he can do by how they react tomorrow.

Now Bakich, on the other hand, has to make sure this entire team doesn't go out all night and celebrate a pretty amazing Saturday. Got to remind them that there is a game tomorrow too. Those kids are probably thinking they are immortal right now.
