After the somewhat disappointing season to date

Nov 27, 2021, 10:37 AM

how much better or worse will it seem to you after tonight depending on a win or loss in Columbia?

Does a win salvage an below average season and turn it into an average season at 9-3 with a rivalry win?

Does a rivalry loss and 8-4 make it seem exponentially worse?

I think a win tonight saves some jobs. A loss and there will be some major shakeups.

I’m hoping the team that played Wake last week shows up.

Win tonight and the bowl game and go to 10-3

Not a bad season by a longshot. Not what we want ultimately but 10 win seasons are pleasant compared to many a West or Bowden season. Go Tigers!!!!

If West & Bowden seasons are now the standard of comparison

That means that we're pretty much giving up on the "Best is the Standard". Screw that.

This is a disappointing season. Some of the reasons for that were likely avoidable; the injuries compounded the problems and put us out of the running for a season comparable to the last six. I am disappointed but I'm still as "All In" as I was as a freshman in 1987.

Even with the healing of all the players currently out due to injury, Dabo and staff still have a lot of work to do. Key areas of this team, primarily on offense, MUST improve if we're ever going to get back to "Best is the Standard". We will learn a lot next season about where we're going under the current leadership. I'm hoping for the best.

A loss tonight should absolutely result in some jobs lost. We have struggled but SC’s team is made up of FCS players. Zero excuse to lose to them

I was already fine with the season. We're just growing. Every year won't be perfect. We're not Bama. Clemson will win another national title within 4 to 5 years and we will be in the playoffs 3 to 4 times on that period.
