After rewatching - Some positives from yesterday

I’m usually focus on the negatives but they’ve been well covered ? on here so here are some good things I saw:

Attacking the middle of the field! I was especially happy to see some of the quick slant and seam routes.

RBs consistently run hard. GT and Furman were putting a lot of hats in the box but if DJ keeps throwing well we’ll start breaking long ones.

The first O drive of the 3rd Q was the best. OLine did it’s best blocking and we went right down the field to essentially put the game away.

This is the fastest D we’ve had in a while, maybe ever. If Goodwin and Conn can figure out how to better discipline and utilize that speed we’ll start generating more negative plays and turnovers.

Perhaps most importantly, this team has faced some real adversity and uncovered several things they can work on and improve while still getting double-digit wins. There are several preseason contenders who would love to be where we are right now.

Probably the most sunshine pumping post from me all year…
