Reminds me of the story I heard about Tom & Giselle.
Tom was a CA boy, Giselle European. Family was important in terms of support structure, but not lifelong commitment. Tom divorcing Bridget Moynahan in favor of Giselle wasn’t a huge deal—after all, this is the 2000s and he works in the NFL—but when Giselle got pregnant outside of marriage something had to change.
So Robert Kraft sat down with his star QB, talked to him about relationships, commitments and being a QB and role model in America. If you look around the NFL, QBs get married and stay married, and partly because they become the face of the franchise, their wives become public relations representatives to the community.
Brady married the girl.
The rest is history.
Let’s hope for the same success for Trevor and Marissa.

Sorry, I have to correct my recount of an unverifiable story:
Tom never married Bridget, so it is that child who is out of wedlock. Not sure when the "chat" with Kraft occurred, but Brady married Giselle (the Brazilian model, not European) before they began expecting children.
BTW, this is not my attempt to slam Brady. It is my attempt to show that marriage--and being a role model--require just as much commitment, planning, teamwork, cooperation and aspirations of meeting the needs of others (including the humility to take advice) as being a successful athlete.
I tip my cap and doff my mask to Brady, Peyton, Philip Rivers, Drew Brees, Christian Ponder, Eli Manning and others who are committed to their marriages and win a little bit on the side.
They all have their own Hall of Fame in their homes.

I disagree. They are in this together. She is just as invested in him as he is. Plus he will probably get a contract worth at least $40 million guaranteed (Baker Mayfield got $33 Million guaranteed). Add to that endorsement deals and he is approaching $100M. He will have plenty of money, even if it's just half.
