Friday night, pizza and some horror movies. Nice night in for a change.
Saturday, up kinda early to do some yard work. Sharkgirl bought a bunch of plants from a native plant sale the other week and we had to clear out some space to get them planted. I've got to hire some help or do a better job of keeping up with these flower beds. Then off to Shoeless for a the fall beer competition. Watched just enough football to see the gamecocks get punched in the gut then kicked in the balls.
Sunday, watched some videos to get read to my upcoming trip. Went to Lewis BBQ for lunch, got the chicken fried steak special. Not much else exciting.

Spent the weekend at a bachelor's party for a 66 yo frat bro in North Dirty Myrtle. We put on a nice oyster roast and low country boil. Libations were had by all. Golf, Bocce Ball and the World Series were had for fun.
10/10 (19/19 on the RH Covids scale) -1 for the drive, +1 for the weather.
Wood due a gin.

Friday - Drove to Charlotte to pickup daughter of. Watched the 49ers hang with N. Texas for a half. QB for N. Texas lit them up for 600 yds!.
Saturday - Church trunk-or-treat in the afternoon. Tried in vain to explain last minute decoration shopping to wifeof and daughterof as we went out to find things for our "trunk". Didn't want to, but ended up making a day of it. Helped cook about 100 hotdogs for the trunk-or-treaters. Actually felt bad for the coots. Had it in the palm of their hands... Then watched the gift that Texas got in order to keep them relevant.
Sunday - Church, Had a classical music Sunday. Girl from the choir did Ave Maria. Kocked it out of the park. Home for some leftovers, laughed at Andy Dalton (what else can you do?), nap.

Cut the grass for hopefully the last time so the leaf raking to come will be easier. Glad for the rain, it was very dusty behind the mower.
Spread some mulch too - that was a pretty dusty job as well.

Took off work early Friday and hit the Wando River. Bite was pretty good and the view coming back to the boat ramp at dusk was awesome!
Saturday the wife and I headed to SWU for parent's day and got to spend time with our oldest son and his team. Watched SC choke away their game (but they played pretty well and that worries me for next month when we play them). Great day!
Sunday headed back to Summerville and relaxed most of the day.
10/10 would do again!

Friday: went to bed early for no other reason that just tired af
Saturday: up at 5, did some housework, went to Cootlumbia for scokker (West Cootlumbia, sorry Yeahbuddy we were in and out quick like JUST LIKE SEGGS WITH MAULDAWG.)
Came home saw end of Bammer/SCAR, went to bed
Sunday: up at 5, did some chores, church, shopping, scokker in the afternoon again, home, went to bed early but couldn't sleep, watched some Diesel Creek and finally halfway nodded off.
Was a lot cooler than I thought but not terrible, not great, was good to see the FA-MUH-LEE of Louisiana take out the trash though

Thursday, Thirsty Beaver. Justin Clyde Williams and Tyler Hatley opened up, did their entire DickandTammy Show album, and a handful of other originals as the opener. Tyler-James Kelly headlined, we hadn't seen him before, but he was fantastic. The guy is a certified badass guitar picker, great voice, killer setlist, and bonus points for being a Dale Earnhardt doppelganger. Sat outside for a while afterwards and had a long conversation with Justin Clyde before heading home. On top of being an amazing musician, the dude is one of the funniest characters you'll ever meet.
Friday, Waxhaw Taphouse for the Xtreme World Wrestling Halloween show. Always a fun time where the wrestlers compete in full Halloween costumes. Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorhees, Michael Myers, Killer Clowns from Outer Space, Spiderman, Deadpool, Frankenstein, Dracula, Scarecrow, etc. It was the last outdoor show of the year and kinda cold out there, but it was a hoot.
Saturday, off to Asheville with Mrs., Joonyer, and daughter-in-law. Ate arepas and yuca fries at Little Chango *highly recommend), then over to Dssolver Brewing for beers, then to the Harrah's Cherokee Center for concert. Robert Ellis opened, then Dawes turned in a rocking set, then headliner Turnpike Troubadours. I could not have crafted a better TT setlist if I'd written it myself.
Sunday, got up and met daughter-in-law's aunts and uncles for brunch at Chestnut. They're awesome people and we always love seeing them, and the food at Chestnut is phenomenal. Back home and never moved from the Big Chair before turning in early.
1900/19 Covids.

First deer I had her at 20 yards and I didn’t have the bow cocked all the way.
2nd deer at 10 yards, pulled up slowly and was about to pull the trigger when she blew at me and ran.
3rd deer at around 40 yards and I had a great shot, really thought I hit her but alas the arrow was in the ground low.
4th deer I shot at from 40 yards around 7am and also was too low. SOB
5th deer was too far away so I stalked her to around 40 yards and she saw me and ran.
Overall was tons of fun, and spent the weekend at the lake. But bow hunting is tough, w a rifle all of them were dead to rights.

Fri.: Took the kids to a neighborhood church's fall festival. A good time was had by all. A.
Sat.: FANTASTIC fall weather. I hit the gym, followed by some yard work. I took advantage of the good weather by setting up my camping gear to prep for a trip up to Clemson in a few weeks. Watched Ole Miss/Oklahoma. Took the 2.5 year old "hiking" on a local trail, followed up by ice cream. We grilled out for dinner. In addition to hamburgers, we used up some of the eggplant from the garden by making grilled eggplant Parmesan. I was skeptical but it turned out well. A
Sun.: Church, then donuts, then some indoor chores as the weather turned cold and rainy. We went to a Trunk or Treat at my mom's church. We planned to hit up our own church's fall festival but Wifeof and I were tired and 2/3 kids were in bad moods. We headed home and had family movie night. B+.

Friday - worked late, missus made a good dinner. Had a Bitburger. Watched game 1.
Saturday - worked, got a good run in with gorgeous weather, worked some more, watched LFC lose again, went to a couple of breweries, sat by the fire pits, got drunk on a DIPA. Ate. Came home to see Yamamoto-san’s complete game.
Sunday - church, seggsy time, watched LewHam get screwed out of a possible podium spot, sister came in on the way down to Sakerlina for Momma PAW care. Early to bed.
10/10.

which has terrible BBQ but their sides and ribs are amazing.
Saturday I did some chores around the house then took son of hunting. Didn't see anything but since I was out in the Cades area we stopped by Big D's on the way home. Now that is good BBQ.
Sunday was a lazy day hanging out around the house. Nephew came by for a visit. Not bad.

Fri - made steak fajitas. Got in 36 of Golden Tee and played poorly. -10 and -13. Watched uninspiring football
Sat - Other MSynan's aunt had annual Halloween party right next to College Park Jazz Festival. Saw not jazz, saw my buddies in a ska band called Control This. Excellent. Did watch afternoon football laughing at Coots. What are you doing SMU? Turned that one off because surely you can't lose running the clock down to 20 seconds. Oops. Cost me the football pool
Sun - Pulp City Sessions at the pub with a neat new band called Ghost Pepper. Mellow with an Asian singer that used some Indian and Pakistani dialects in some of their songs. Always cool to see original music
19/19 COVIDS because live music and Clemson didn't lose

family didn't know what to do with themselves.
Friday night drove daughter to HS Football game and picked up, they won pretty easily, undefeated and highly ranked, will not get past Raleigh teams this year though, IMO.
Saturday dog woke me up at 6. Took him for a walk, but did it barefoot, and now I have a nice quarter sized blister on my heel. I forgot some of the neighboring hoods don't have sidewalk. Watched soccer, went to Wrightsville so daughter could hang with boyfriend (weird) & walked the loop and shot hoops with wife and the Boys, then took everyone to dinner at Tower 7. Not worth the $125. Ice cream afterwards, $45 for ice cream for 5. Found out the boyfriend paid for his and daughters so ice cream place got paid twice for some of that. Home early in the evening.
Sunday was grass cutting and cleaning house and watching Arsenal win 1-0.
Some good, some bad.

Friday night - work
Saturday - spurts of work (two FRB's then re-run of a test) with watching football in between
Sunday - 8AM Mass, wait for test article to be available for inspections, football
Two weeks into this work trip and I'm ready to go home. Hopefully LAX doesn't have any more ground shutdowns because the ATC doesn't like not being paid.

pulled into the parking lot Thursday and parked and never moved, was able to spend 3 nights in the van along with ~50 other vehicles, man I love the Orion
celebrated Octoberfest under a Saturn V rocket and a show at the planetarium at the Space and Rocket center, brought the bikes so we biked around some and left the van where it was
so after each Billy show, there was an after party at the venue with food trucks, a band, and they still served alcohol, crazy, there is probably no other venue that does anything like this
ran into dawghater23® and his lady, good people
beautiful ride sans interstate laterally through bama and GA, stayed ahead of the rain and enjoyed the ride
Billy shows were amazing, the seats were great, the weather was fantastic, 12 out of 10, the Orion should be a definite every year
