Jack is the best. He is an elite Coach. He is a hall of famer.He has built this program into the program it is today. We are just so lucky to have him.
I'm sure this team will bounce back with a huge winning streak. Jack and Pep will get this straightened out.Look out Omaha.

the country in 2002, 3rd/4th in 2010, in the top 8 in 95, 96, 2000, and 2006. Jack has taken us to the final 8 6 times in 22 seasons so far.
Coach Wilhelm took us to the top 8 in 58, 59, 76, 77, 80, and 91, in 36 seasons.
We never finished as high in the CWS under Coach Wilhelm and he went 16 years without getting us there from 60-75. Did Coach Wilhelm ever win a game in the CWS?

Idiots are going to be idiots and they will fight you kicking and screaming if you try to help them see the light. They don't like the light, they like being emo.
The level of stupidity regarding our baseball program is record-breaking, even for a sports message board. It's going to start convincing some of the moderates that a majority of Clemson fans (who actually pay attention to baseball) want Jack gone.
He is one the most consistently successful coaches in Clemson sports history. But instant gratification speaks louder to nitwits. There are less than a handful of coaches out there who you could even argue have had as much success over the last 15 years as Jack Leggett. But that doesn't even occur to those calling for his ouster. They just want to make loud noises and witness emotional knee-jerk decisions because they are upset about their favorite team losing.
History is littered with idiots like that. That's why we have athletic directors... and door locks. Keep the mob out.

So bringing Wilhelm into this is a contradiction. Wilhelm inherited a good team too. Leggett has been to just as many World Series as Wilhelm in half the time and a much tougher ACC.

immediately won the ACC and took us to the CWS in his both of his first two years.

On the other hand, Jack Leggett inherited an absolute powerhouse program from Wilhelm.
Wilhelm also won seven ACC tournament titles to only two for Leggett.

Here comes this ignorant #### again. Most of Wilhelms tenure the NCAA Tournament wasnt in the current format that allows more teams a CHANCE to get to the CWS.
Also that whole "tougher ACC" while true is also a bull #### cop out and excuse.
One Championship in 19 years is pathetic regardless of how "tough" the league might be.

Man..I make a good positive post about our Baseball team and I think they can sure use some fan support right about now.I am stunned at the terrible attitude a large number of you have towards the Baseball program. If you have to whine and cry like a bunch of spoiled brats at least wait until the season is over.
Whether you;re happy with Jack or not it certainly doesn't help to berate and belittle the fans that are trying to stay positive.
The "Coot thing" is just totally worn out and childish. Get a new line.
