Please not the Peach Bowl again! It would be nice to go to a different bowl this year. I'm hoping Oregon or Alabama screws the pooch and loses a game to someone they should beat. Either Alabama having to go to Auburn [if you haven't watched them, Auburn is very good this year. Physical with a capital P] or Oregon losing at Stanford or to Arizona State or Oregon State.
One of those things happening would put Florida State in the BCS championship game. Then us in a BCS bowl providing we win out. I dislike Florida State, but they have a very good team this year, and it would make our conference look wayyy good.

I would love to watch Stanford beat Oregon on Thursday.
FSU win the national championship. (ACC's vs SEC's best)
Clemson beat South Carolina, (at home)
Clemson beat Oregon in a BCS bowl game.
That would be a great way to finish what could be Clemson's second best season ever.

This is the exact scenario that i am afraid of. It shakes out like this in the selection order:
Sugar - SEC team to replace Bama (they always take an SEC team)
Rose - PAC 12 team to replace Oregon (they always go for Pac 12 vs Big Ten to protect their sacred Rose Bowl matchup)
Orange - CAN NOT select Clemson to play against FSU b/c two conference foes can not meet except for in the BCS title game
Sugar - must take either AAC champ or Fresno/NIU
Fiesta - must take the remaining team, either AAC Champ or Fresno/FIU
Now if neither Fresno nor NIU qualify, OR if we somehow finish in the top 4 of the final BCS standings, OR if FSU makes the title game we are fine. It's just one particularly scenario where we get totally boned.

Orange gets first pick, but they won't due two ACC teams (or a rematch), Sugar has to take the AAC champ, and that leaves the Fiesta with the non-AQ qualifier (FS or NI). Looks like we're screwed unless FSU goes to the championship game or FS and NI both drop a game (or, I guess if FSU loses to WF and Syracuse).
Not looking good.

FSU not going to the NC game could be the BCS show stopper for us even if we win out, so a number of 'professional' guessers...I mean analysts say. It all has to do with the contortions that the NCAA goes through in trying to be fair to the largest number of conferences and the fact that the SEC gets favored in at least one of the BCS bowls (Sugar). So it seems to me.

Their bowl choice for us assumes losing to Scar. Assuming we beat Scar,would an 11-1 Tiger team even be motivated enough to play well in a second rate bowl game ?
