Look at his mugshot . That's one angry young man right there . Probably believes there's nothing wrong with what he's been up to . The Coots have themselves a real prospect here ...if the next level is the penitentiary . Oh my .

I don't think you understand how the criminal justice system works.
Arrest does not equal conviction.

"Refusing to cooperate with investigators"
The rivalry aspects of this whole thing aside (which I get and understand this is why this thread exists), If you are ever arrested, this is exactly what your lawyer(s) will tell you to do. Remember the 5th amendment to the Constitution? Nobody is under ANY obligation to make the job of law enforcement any easier in the event of their arrest.
Remember these simple phrases....
"I do not consent to searches."
"Am I being detained or am I free to go?"
"What reasonable articulable suspicion do you have that I have committed a crime?"
"I do not answer questions."
"I want my lawyer."
FWIW, I've never been arrested nor received more than a traffic ticket, but I know my right just in case.

Troy Hambrick...too many names to list of SCU players ruining their career through crime. Keep on bringing em in like y'all always have, and we will watch those players continually get arrested during and after their time at SCU. And since players like that always end up being more of a distraction than helping the team out, we will laugh while your program continues to get embarrassed by the likes of the citadel, vanderbilt, and Kentucky

the "win at all costs" mentality that has permeated that program for decades continues under CussChamp.
Those deluded ignorant inbreds are so desperate for athletic success (especially in football), they will knowingly willingly and gladly compromise what little is left of character and integrity of the university, the players and the coaches if they think for one second doing so will translate into more wins.

I know there's another one from ATL they were trying to get in as well. Kid was another "straight criminal", per the guy who told me. Said he made Blackshear look like a choirboy. He hasn't appeared - yet - so it appears it hasn't gone through. Entirely possible the kid simply can't leave the state.
Been a lot of that going around. They jumped all over Tydus Jones and snuck him in too.
Holtz putting a known klepto like KC Mainord in is one thing, but some of these guys are pure felons. Like I said earlier, at the very least. he's going to make a heckuva respectable showing in the Fulmer Cup...I think Willy Boom may actually win the thing.
This kind of stuff tends to be self-defeating. Bad press and pub are one thing; a culture of lawlessness, entitlement, resentment, and outright misbehavior is quite another, once it gets into your locker room.

Well it looks like the kid could get 10 years minimum if convicted. So he probably won't have a chance to see football except on his TV screen in the federal pen. Not to mention the kid got shot in December while he was home. Seems just like a fine upstanding kind of athlete that school in Columbia would take.

Reading is not hard. "I would encourage everyone to let this play out and understand that the more press this gets, the more problematic it is for South Carolina to end up with him". There are numerous other threads on GC sites discussing how the SCar coaches have tried to keep this under wraps. Just bc your little chicken brain doesn't want to believe it doesn't mean it's not true.

verify that the coaches are trying to "sneak" him into school. I agree that they shouldn't be taking him, but there is nothing that I've read (other than some random person's comments on a message board) that suggest the school is trying to sneak him in.
Do you normally believe everything that you read on the internet?

JC Shurburtt is not a fan. He's a Gamecock insider and co-owner of TBS. That was not a random poster. Now stop start using your brain.

Let's see, the Penn State coaches knew something inappropriate was going on with Sandusky and kept quiet, thus allowing him to victimize other boys. This guy knows who robbed people at gunpoint and is keeping quiet about it. If and when those two guys kill someone that blood will be on his hands as much as the perpetrators.

but I don't take what's written on a message board as truth. Remember when you said Rashan Gary was coming?
I'm pretty sure those coaches are smart enough to know that this would come out- there's only 25 or so kids in a recruiting class, and people are going to know who they are. I highly doubt they were planning on bringing him in thinking no one would notice.

Man you are a genius. They are trying to get him in with as little media coverage as possible. Of course they know it will come out eventually but they have definitely tried to keep it under wraps until the paperwork was done to avoid bad press.

It's pretty funny how scared Tiger Woods is of one player.

Just ask AKAGamecockDan Barron about that attempt to derail Gary? Just an opinion also.
It's just sad your own refuse to work the program as build on guys into men by trying to build good character into great men.
In the long run, you earn respect of young men and parents that trust their kids will be at a program expecting them to come in to grow on their past behavior.
Being disciplined for breaking rules not rewarded by keeping it quite coming in to start with a felony.
It doesn't help S.C. as a state or your beloved team in the long run. It hurts the rivalry and your fans in building that sustained program most of you want.
Again my opinion, perfection with young men with brains not fully formed will never be achieved but past behavior is a predictor of future behavior.
Go Tigers!

Disgraceful, and quite frankly, embarrassing for Muschamp & the SCar program. Just a bad, bad look for a first-year HC trying to rebuild on a platform of doing right.

Thanks for confirming you think that a 14 year old and a 19 year old have the same level of maturity. Jayron got in trouble and then stayed clean for years 5 before enrolling at Clemson. This guy is less than a year removed from his legal troubles and was already an adult when he committed his crime.

Simple fact: Dabo has never brought in a player that was kicked off another team. The gamecocks on the other hand have accepted at least a half dozen since Dabo has been at Clemson.

The gamecock is embarrassing you guys. Declining to talk to the cops makes you guilty? Only a dumbshit talks to the police.
Quote from Justice Robert Jackson.
"Any lawyer worth his salt will tell the suspect in no uncertain terms to make no statement to the police under any circumstances." *Watts v. Indiana, 338 U.S. 49, 59 (1949) (Justice Robert Jackson concurring in part and disse... emphasis added)
[James Duane] Years later, when he was a Justice on the Supreme Court, Justice Jackson stated quote: "Any lawyer worth his salt", today we would say his or her, "will tell the suspect", his client, "in no uncertain terms to make no statement to the police under any circumstances."

We do things one way in Clemson and they do things they do in Columbia. It's interesting to see that muschamp is no different. The USuCk's, the WVU's, and louisvilles of the world are always desperate for success and will try to get there regardless of integrity. Par for the course for that bunch.i just can't see why u would choose to be #### fan...
