ACC channel Series on the 1999 Noles

They posted several times about the ACC channel series on the 1999 Noles.... That was the year of Bowden Bowl 1 when we lost 17-14 and had a field goal blocked with time expiring. I'm sure they won't go into the Dillard's scandal where Peter Warrick and Laverneous Coles should have been benched for that game. Everyone on the hill was shaking a Dillard's bag. It was hilarious.

Our defense played lights out that game..... Reggie Herring defenses always showed up. Keith Adams, DeMarco Fox, Robert Carswell, Chad Carson, Terry Jolly, Alex Ardley, Jason Hollaman all played lights out. Woody Dantlzer did what Woody always does. IF my memory serves me right, we were up 14-3 at half.

and blitzing A LOT. Our corners were out on islands by themselves regularly.

That 1999 FSU game was great. I remember being so proud of our team. The Valley was electric that night.

Yep... Herring was amazing. He was so electric. His style of denfense was exactly that.... you WILL NOT run on us... and it was man to man all day for the corners. He can make so-so corners look good like the Ford twins !!! hahahah
