A college kid got a speeding ticket. No surprise there...happens all the time.
He broke 100 mph...OMG! While not the brightest move, it's also no surprise that a college kid tried to break 100 mph.
He's driving a Chrysler 300. Okay...so what? Like that's anything new in college sports. Find where it came from and then post that, otherwise, stop wasting our time.
People are actually spending days on this non-story complaining of unfair treatment and that he wasn't thrown under the jail, and the media or whoever going as far as getting the dash cam video released. And what would have happened if he were arrested? Absolutely nothing. He'd hire a lawyer with that NFL money he's about to get and everything would work out regardless. And the NFL wouldn't blink an eye...it's speeding, not robbing a bank.
Good grief...some of you have lost your minds. And what's really sad is how butt hurt you sound right now. We actually sound a lot like them...we should be above this type behavior.
GO TIGERS!

... pretty much just like every other fan base in the country. The problem is our fan base is made up of people. We have the pumpers, the dumpers, the conspiracy theorists, the pot stirrers, the never been, never going to be happy, the whiners, the hopelessly negative, the perpetual fearful, and a whole bunch of really good folks with the common sense not to post on here very often.

our bunch is a little more over the top. And having been around here for many years, I can definitely see a change for the worse.

I understand your point, but don't take it too far in the other direction. It wasn't just "a college kid got a speeding ticket....happens all the time." The officer had to pursue him for 3 miles at speeds up to 142mph to catch up with him. He was driving recklessly and putting a lot of other people's lives in danger.

At that speed, you travel almost 2 miles in 1 minute. So

the fact that the cop had to start from zero, or slow down and make a u-turn, no wonder it took 3 miles to catch up.

A smart cop would let him go, as dumb as it sounds.
The only thing worse than a vehicle barreling down the road at 115 mpg are two vehicles doing so.
