wasn't one. the staff was trying to put the game away before half and the way it unfolded to start the 3rd quarter, clemson needed to.
you have an obligation to your team at that point in the game. get the starters off the field if you can, get the 2s, 3s plus on the field asap. the only coach on the field at the time that had no class was the 'cuse head man and he went into the clemson locker room after the game to apologize. that was all class of him to do so.
h3ll, dabo was playing the equipment managers in the 4th of that game.

What about game this year? I remember someone burning timeouts at end and everyone was "why they using timeouts?". It was in obvious protest over our use of starters and late score. Inferior opponent but can't remember who.....

Here is what I said tonight. This was classless. If it was Dabo he would have kneeled once. If the other team called a TO be would have run it. This is not the season. If it was I would completely understand. It was the last game and your playing for an NC.
I explained to the people I was watching with that Dabo takes a knee. We have seen many examples of this when points do matter for rankings during his tenure. People around the nation don't see Tiger football but it is!

I will never think of Urban Meyer as being high class. He is, and always has been, a jerk. Dabo would not have done that at the end of a game. Haven't you seen the Tigers kneeling to kill the clock when it's evident we've won?

Just wondering, why does the fact that Oregon didn't call a TO after 1st down mean that they wouldn't after 2nd and 3rd with two TO?

1) I dont dislike Urban Meyer. So take that narrative elsewhere.
2) They ran the ball 4 times after that time out without another time out being called. It was pretty obvious Oregon had conceded at that point in time.
3) You are leaving more to chance by trying to run up the score than by taking a knee. More likely to fumble with your RB getting hit than you ware with your QB taking a snap and sitting down.

Either way, I wouldn't care. Oregon didn't give up until the clock struck zero so why should OSU essentially say "the game's over" by kneeling out? It's almost disrespectful to take it to the inch-line and down it. It says "we would have scored but saved you the embarrassment." I just think it's an insulting assumption.
