A Valuable Month of Bowl Practice

Coaches often comment that bowl games are so valuable because it gives them another month or so to coach the players. In our case the practice time allows our new talented QB and team to work together as never before. The ACC Championship MVP settles into his role as the team rides the wave of enthusiasm. If coaches are right and practice matters, sorry Alan Iverson, this month is especially valuable for Cade and our new offense.

You are exactly correct. The Tigers certainly have the time to prepare a game plan that,hopefully, will give the new kid the protection that he needs to beat the Vols. Dabo loved DJ to a fault and we should not be in this situation because of his loyalty to one family. Klubnik did not, suddenly, in the championship game become a MVP kind of player. The refusal to use him in the state rivalry game is impossible for me to understand. The Vols will come after Klubnik from the first snap. Let’s see how the Tigers respond. With a month to get ready and a world of talent to work with, this game should be a laugher, GoTigers.

I think Brandon Streeter was the quarterbacks coach for that time span and game.
