that close to Keowee ever.
FBC and family out in the Alumacraft DuckHunter 15 jon (the dumbest way to spell john) boat with the 40 nissan on the back puttering to the the diffent waterfalls and jumping rock on Jocassee.
When out of nowhere a 15 ft true jon boat, with no seats, just the metal bench comes flying around the lake loaded down with 6 people.
Now as you know, there are a lot of pontoons and other boats that make a large wake. Ol FBC slows down and rides the wakes at a 45 degree angle as to not swamp the boat.
This ol boy is going at mach jesus with wake or no wake loaded down.
Finally got to talk to ol boy on one of the beaches. Apparently it's his dad's boat. Bimini top was welded on by his uncle Randy who, according to him, is the most successful person in his family because he's the only certified tig welder.
Uncle Randy's life motto is: Stacking dimes and laying 9s.
I #### you knot.
So yes. I'm not proud of it. But I was out rednecked on jocassee this week.

I don't get the allure of that lake, at all. Small, crowded, and full of yankees. Did your kids get to swim in the oil slick at the waterfall?
Kind of reminded me of the lake version of Atlanta with a nice view of mountains.

It was pretty rough due to traffic, lots of wakeboard boats plowing around. You could tell the "I go to the lake twice a year" crowd was out in force.
If you value privacy, it is not the place to go. Thankfully the water is warm, otherwise somebody is going to see your weiner if you try to pee off the back of the boat...Either from another boat, or a house 3' away from the water.

Keowee is sooo awesome, but Jocassee is the best. Please go to those lakes. What time did you have to get there to be able to put in? 6am? Last time we went we got there at like 8:30 and were one of the last boats they let launch.

Keowee on the weekend is no joke either. There's a lot more room to roam on Hartwell, then Russell is prob the least busy.

to camping in a heat wave. We literally had to stay submerged the entire time.
We would get everything set up for bed. Go down to the water, bathe, cool off, then go straight to bed.
I got a total of 8 hours of sleep in 3 nights.
The storm was pretty hairy, especially when I had to go back to the beach to retrieve my frocks (fake crocs).
Luckily it seems most storms go around the lake so we really didn't get much.

We hit Caesars head, jones gap, and Paris Mountain on the way in. Stayed at the best western in Seneca Sunday night.
Then headed out Monday to camp. Still took 3 trips by boat to get everything to the camp site. We about divorced then.
Wood knot wreck or mend hitting all of those state parks dragging a boat behind you.

I ran 4 miles on that MF mid day on Tuesday. Mahgawd it was hot. Had to jump in a creek after to cool off.
Actually, didn't run 4. Went straight uphill for about 1.5 then ran down 2.5 back. Hot. A. F.

You could prob clean it up, add some grease to the bearings, put new tires on and get....idk, 1500-2500. Depends a lot on if the motor can run or if it's shot.

Option B) FInd a high school kid proficient in such things and offer them commission for selling it for you.
Turd) You just want to get rid of it, sell to me for $500 or post on buddybook for a grand.
