Until it became a real possibility really quickly.
Dabo is an excellent leader who other like working for. Look at how many coaches come back. Is he a flawed with not adapting to the times with NIL and Portal, yes. But let’s be honest, this portal/NIL thing is going to come back down to earth eventually (hopefully).

I do not believe "a lot" of people wanted Dabo out. I think it might be more accurate to say a lot of people would like to see him adapt to some things and be a little more flexible but that is as far as I would go.

Not in the least. Most like myself, want Dabo to adapt to the new rules of the game and not have a process that puts us at a disadvantage. I also wanted him to fix the obvious issues on the coaching staff.
He has done some of those things, so it wasn’t just imaginary gripes.

You must be one of those posters who thinks that any time anyone disagrees with any decision a coach makes that they want him fired. No real Clemson fan, even if they had any disagreement with some of Dabo’s decisions, would ever think we’re better off with a different coach.

It just makes you put things in perspective. When all you're thinking about is losing and thinking of ways how we can get back to where we were, you don't tend to think of all the positive things that are still going on in the program. The culture hasn't fallen off, recruiting hasn't fallen off and clearly Dabo's desire to be at Clemson hasn't fallen off. This will rally the fanbase imo and everybody will be on the same page going into next year.

Not a single REAL Clemson fan ever wanted Dabo out hahaha if you read that then they weren’t Clemson fans or literally have no idea what they are talking about… like some of the fans I work with that wanna fire coaches and talk crap and can’t name a single starter on either side of the ball…unfortunately every fan base has those idiots but not a single Clemson fan ever wants to see Dabo leave I can assure you. He is very beloved regardless of some of the BS you read on here. Do a lot want him to change some of his ways, yes… but if there’s anyone that we should trust to fix it (which he has based on hires) it’s Dabo, he’s earned that. I hope he’s here another 20 years.
